A Sherbrooke-based lawyer, Marike's practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on contractual disputes.

Curious by nature, Marike enjoys being involved in a variety of projects. During her studies in university, she was a student-volunteer for the Réseau national d'étudiants Pro Bono (PBSC) and the Bureau d'information juridique de l'Université Laval, as well as a student-clinician for the Clinique de droit international, pénal et humanitaire. These involvements have enabled her to acquire effective work techniques, sharpen her critical judgment and hone her emergency management skills.

Marike is appreciated for her simplicity, determination, listening skills and dedication.

  • Social implications

Driven by the ideal of a world where the rights of all are fully respected and implemented, I aspire, through my profession, to better understand the issues related to access to justice for all. I firmly believe in the importance of social solidarity, and I'm convinced that being a lawyer also means acting as an agent of change to bring about change in our society.

During my university career, I was involved, both as a volunteer and as a student-clinician, with the Clinique juridique itinérante (CJI), whose main mission is to promote access to justice for the underprivileged, homeless and/or marginalized.
