A lawyer in our Montreal office, Heting mainly practices in technology law and information governance. As part of her practice, she offers training sessions, advises, and supports clients in data management and security. She helps them comply with the provisions of privacy legislations.
Right from the start of her university career, she had the chance to enter the legal world through student positions at a civil and criminal law firm, then as a research and teaching assistant to a university professor. She has also completed several observation and research internships with judges sitting on the Montreal Superior Court.
Heting is appreciated for her determination, curiosity, and enthusiasm.

Social Implications
I find it important to be involved with my community and to find ways to help and inspire the next generation. Outside of practicing law, I'm very involved in Montreal's Chinese community, notably as a leader and teacher in a Chinese dance troupe. I also act as a master of ceremonies for various cultural and philanthropic events.
