Legal assistant
A lawyer at our Montreal office, Noémie's practice focuses on professional and civil liability, as well as insurance, real estate and construction law.
Drawing on her expertise in these fields, she defends the interests of her professional clients, contractors and insurers with dedication and professionalism, both before the courts and in negotiations.
Her prior experience in disciplinary and ethics law enables her to skillfully handle sensitive disputes with the professionals she defends, thanks to her in-depth knowledge of the ethical and professional issues to which they are exposed.
At the start of her university career, Noémie also completed studies in psychology, which today contribute to the human and empathetic approach she offers her clients, and to her ability to resolve conflicts with finesse.
She is appreciated for her thoroughness, meticulous attention to detail and open, transparent dialogue.

Professional mandate
My primary objective is to provide my clients with all the tools they need to optimize the resolution of their disputes by carefully analyzing all aspects of their case, not just legally, but logically and judiciously.
I believe that clear and sincere communication is at the heart of all solutions, whether it's pleading in court, effectively settling a case or explaining the technical elements of the law and addressing my clients' concerns so that they can make well thought-out decisions adapted to their situation.
In my practice, I have represented numerous professionals and companies sued for professional and civil liability, notably in matters of latent defects, construction, design or manufacturing defects, real estate transactions and personal injury. This practice has led me to complete, when the situation required it, several trials in Superior Court and the Court of Quebec.
I have also represented several professional orders before disciplinary and higher authorities, and assisted syndics in their ethical investigations and in matters of illegal practice of the profession. These skills serve me well in all areas of my practice, giving me an overview of all the issues involved in a given dispute.

Implications sociales
On a daily basis, I put my legal knowledge and experience to work for the benefit of my personal, community and professional environment.
I'm a member of the Association des Femmes d'Assurances de Montréal, and as such, I write columns on developments in jurisprudence. I also take part in events, conferences and other social and cultural activities whenever I have the opportunity.
I also find it important to get involved with my peers and the next generation of lawyers. I'm happy to take the time to answer their questions, discuss strategy or any other concerns they may have, so that we can move forward as a team in the beautiful practice of law!
