Over the course of my career, I have been involved in major projects such as mutual fund mergers, acquisitions of financial services firms, and the development of privacy and anti-money laundering compliance programs.

I also held the position of Corporate Secretary and VP Legal Affairs for a group of 7 insurance and IT companies.

I was central director of access and protection of confidential information for a major public organization for 7 years, in addition to being deputy head of the protection of confidential information.

I also prepared training material and disseminated training in access and protection of personal information to train managers from public organizations and private companies.

In addition to having participated in the training of a number of government officials responsible for access to and protection of personal information and having given several training sessions to these officials and their managers via a micro-program on strategic management in the protection of personal information and in the workplace for business groups, I have more recently given presentations on the obligations relating to Bill 25.

  • Social implications

I feel it's important to be involved in my community and in local community organizations. That's why, after serving on the Fonds d'emprunt de Québec and the Mutuelle de microfinance, I now sit on the Board of Directors of the Patro de Charlesbourg, whose mission is to contribute to the well-being of people of all ages through recreation, sports and mutual aid for the benefit of people living in vulnerable conditions. It's a welcoming environment where the values of benevolence, pleasure and commitment are conveyed, which reflects my personality.
