A Quebec City tax lawyer, Maude’s practice focuses primarily on business law and tax law, with an expertise that focuses mostly on social economy businesses (NPOs and charities) and the agricultural sector.
Maude has been a partner since 2020. Since very early in her career, she has known success. Indeed, she was a awarded the Canadian Tax Institute scholarship in 2014.
She regularly assists motivated entrepreneurs who care about their business. Her work allows her to advise them regarding their business projects and contribute to the success of their businesses by allowing them to avoid legal and tax pitfalls, maximize their investments through tax avoidance and protect their hard-earned assets by implementing structures designed to protect their assets.
Social economy also occupies a large part of her time. From the beginning, she has been particularly interested in the legal and fiscal structure governing NPOs and other charitable organizations, namely, while accompanying the Fondation de l’Université de Sherbrooke in “unconventional” donations, by furthering her knowledge on the governance and financing of NPOs and other charitable organizations, and by sitting on the panel of experts of Opération Enfant Soleil.
Maude is also regularly involved in mandates involving the agricultural sector, such as succession planning for family-owned businesses, unrelated business transfers and corporate reorganization of agricultural businesses.

Maude is very involved in her community and sits on several boards in the Québec region. She is a lecturer in tax law at Université Laval in addition to teaching at the Centre de formation agricole, the Centre de formation affaires de Saint-Anselme and the École d’entrepreneuriat de Québec.
