Legal Assistant
A lawyer in Montreal, Isabelle focuses her practice on construction law, estate law and civil litigation. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Division, Construction Section and assists the Directors of the Construction Litigation Units. Dedicated to her profession, she is a Maître de Stage and acts as a mentor within the firm. She was also Coordinator of our Question of the Week publications for several years. Prior to joining Therrien Couture Joli-Coeur, she was also the construction coordinator for the APCHQ's legal services and assisted the firm's Director and Vice-President of Legal Affairs at the administrative level.
She has given conferences to members of the Bar as well as training to construction contractors while writing presentations and articles. She also makes it a point to further her knowledge by participating in numerous legal training sessions herself.
She has also been involved as a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Quebec Bar and is a member of the Liaison Committee between the Bar of Montreal and the CAIJ. Isabelle was also president of the Saint-Hyacinthe Lawyers Association from 2010 to 2015.
Isabelle handles the notions of procedure and evidence with ease and skill thanks to her vast experience as a litigator. She is a good listener, empathetic, available, with integrity and thoroughness.

Professional activities
I have pleaded before various courts and have participated in numerous settlement conferences presided over by judges. I adapt to my clients’ needs and actively involve them in the evolution of their file.

Social Involvement
I am particularly fond of sports which, like the practice of law, combines discipline, hard work, rigor and strategy. In fact, I am involved as a volunteer leader for the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie Loop. I also act as a dispatcher at the coordination base since 2016 for this same organization. I was also a volunteer and a governor of a junior AAA field hockey team for a few years.
