Paralegal
A lawyer in Brossard, Marc practises in real estate, commercial and corporate litigation, particularly shareholder disputes. He has represented clients and litigated before various administrative and specialized tribunals, arbitration tribunals and courts of general jurisdiction, including the Court of Appeal of Quebec. He represents the interests of businesses of all sizes, including transnational corporations and companies in the technology sector.
Marc has been involved in several advisory committees of the Barreau de Montréal, including the committee overseeing activities related to the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (2009-2010) and the advisory committee on the pricing of boutique law firms (2014).
In addition to his business law and litigation practice, Marc is a lecturer at the École du Barreau. From 2008 to 2021, he served as a supervising lawyer at the Clinique internationale de défense des droits humains (CIDDHU) and as a lecturer in the Department of Legal Sciences at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Legal Sciences at UQAM, where he teaches civil law.
Marc also serves as an instructor for the Barreau du Québec as part of the training program for new arbitrators accredited by the Quebec Ministry of Justice for the Court of Quebec, Small Claims Division.
As part of his involvement with CIDDHU, Marc has also carried out pro bono work. As a graduate student, he drafted and presented a report on the issue of legal birth registration in vulnerable areas before the Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva. He has also taken part in legal outreach and
access-to-justice initiatives organized by the Barreau de Montréal, notably through its annual Salon Visez Droit.
A team leader and mentor, Marc takes a strategic and structured approach to achieving his clients’ objectives in the context of disputes and litigation. He pays particular attention to the effective and appropriate use of the professional resources made available to clients in order to successfully carry out mandates. He readily delegates work and provides guidance to team members involved in a matter.

Social Involvement
As a supervisor, Marc contributed to the creation and launch of the Clinique juridique du Barreau du Québec, which began operations in 2022. The clinic provides free legal services to the general public and supports broader efforts to improve access to justice.
Over the years, Marc has also served in leadership roles within various social and economic organizations, including the board of directors of Centre Petite-Échelle, the executive committee of the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de la Rive-Sud, the executive board of the Fondation de l’Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne, the board of directors of Centre d’accueil de Longueuil, the board of directors of École des arts et de la scène Nos voix Nos visages, and the board of directors of the Fondation des écoles spécialisées Joseph-Charbonneau and Victor-Doré in Montréal.
