Legal Assistant
Based in Quebec City, Geneviève practices as lawyer in international trade and assists a diversified clientele in the development of foreign markets, overseas procurement, local implementation and creation of business partnerships. She has also developed a complementary specialty in e-commerce and protection of personal information.
Geneviève began her professional path in Europe and North Africa in the management of international projects and on-field accompaniment of foreign investors. Her practical approach integrates the legal framework to the other aspects of business activities, in order to ensure compliance and mitigate risks while focusing on results.
In the course of the mandates entrusted to her, Geneviève is involved in the negotiation, drafting and interpretation of all types of business contracts (purchase and sale, provision of services, distribution, commercial agents, joint ventures, confidentiality agreements, privacy policies, etc.). She also advises her clients on the legal framework applicable to a project, the various strategies of market penetration, as well as on the prevention and early resolution of conflicts. Thanks to a vast international network, she participates in putting in place the resources necessary for the success of a project and also travels on site when required.
Geneviève is fluent in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish.

I get involved without hesitation in the hope of making a difference. Having been led to integrate myself in different countries, I am particularly called by organizations that help immigrants. I have participated in radio reports on cultural communities, drafted subsidies applications for humanitarian projects, acted as an interpreter for asylum seekers, etc. I am currently available as a volunteer for Lawyers Without Borders.
