Jean-Simon supports legal professionals in our Québec office, developing his skills in legal research, drafting legal documents and, on occasion, representing clients before the courts.
During his studies, Jean-Simon had the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of environmental law and urban planning by writing his master’s paper on recent municipal powers and their impact on environmental protection. In addition, Jean-Simon’s involvement with the Chaire de recherche en droit sur la diversité et la sécurité alimentaires has enabled him to develop his skills in relation to Quebec’s food system and its many ramifications.

Jean-Simon was involved in a number of committees during his studies, including the AED’s Commission du développement durable, which he chaired, and the Comité du Grand Maillet.
