A lawyer in Sherbrooke, Justin is a member of the Litigation team and practises civil and commercial litigation, as well as dispute resolution in the fields of bankruptcy and insolvency, construction law and intellectual property.
In this capacity, he represents private-sector companies in contractual and intellectual property disputes (infringement, passing-off, unfair and/or parasitic competition, etc.), matters in which he is frequently called upon to seek urgent and provisional measures such as injunctions and safeguard orders. He also represents general contractors and subcontractors involved in construction law disputes, as well as trustees in bankruptcy, financial institutions, and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings or proposals.
Justin appears before all levels of court in the province, including the Court of Appeal, where he has acted on several dozen occasions, thereby acquiring significant experience.
From 2012 to 2019, he led the team representing the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke for the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court, which brings together all civil law faculties in the country. He has been serving as Chair of the Civil Affairs Committee of the Barreau du district de Saint-François since 2021.
Before joining TCJ, he practised law at two other leading law firms in Quebec.
