Emma is a tax lawyer based in Brossard, she focuses her practice primarily on taxation, corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
She decided to join the Therrien Couture Joli-Cœur team following her internship with the organization. While supporting legal professionals in the Brossard business district, she developed her skills in legal research and drafting legal documents.
Throughout her studies, Emma has always been involved in both extracurricular activities and the workforce. In particular, she had the opportunity to work in a law firm specializing in family law during her bachelor's and bar studies. In addition, her academic career has been marked by enriching experiences, such as her pro bono involvement with the Young Bar Association of Montreal in the preparation of court hearings. She has also worked as a legal research assistant in law of obligations at the Université de Montréal's International Legal Research Centre, and participated in an intellectual property moot before the Honourable Mr. Justice Michel Shore of the Federal Court of Canada.
Through her multiple experiences, Emma has developed entrepreneurial qualities, while increasing her autonomy and sense of initiative.
She is appreciated for her rigor, interpersonal skills and creativity.
