At the University of Montreal, he was involved in the faculty's legal clinic, as well as being an avid sports participant. A long-time baseball player, he also won the title of Champion of the Réseau Sport Études du Québec, with his Ahuntsic College team. It was through his sportsman discipline that Marc-Antoine developed his leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
