Patricia is a lawyer practising in labour and employment law, with a focus on occupational health and safety.
Before joining TCJ, Patricia practised as a general practitioner in France for more than 10 years before transitioning to a legal career. She began her career in 2009 as an articling student at the CNESST and then worked as a lawyer for 13 years for a company specializing in the management of occupational health and safety files and representation mandates for various employers who are members of a prevention mutual group.
She provides employers a service for managing claims for occupational injuries. She represents them before the various levels of the CNESST and the Tribunal administratif du travail. Patricia favours conciliation in the settlement of cases. She also drafts cost sharing and charge transfer requests and advises employers on the best solutions to reduce the financial impact of occupational injuries.
Her dual background in medicine and law, combined with her experience in occupational health and safety law, allows her to assess cases from multiple perspectives and develop effective legal strategies.
Over the years, she has been called upon to defend a wide range of cases involving musculoskeletal injuries, occupational lung diseases, and psychological conditions.
Patricia’s background and experience make her a passionate and attentive lawyer, deeply committed to her clients.
