A civil and commercial litigation lawyer based in Quebec City with over twenty years of experience, Antoine has recognized expertise in private international law, arbitration, and in matters involving contract law, construction, franchising, insurance, manufacturer’s liability, shareholder disputes, information technology, successions and insolvency. He also acts as an arbitrator in civil and commercial matters and teaches civil law and international law at the university level. As part of his practice, he leads litigation before all levels of Quebec courts, both in first instance and in appeal, and also acts in civil and commercial arbitration.

In 2024, Antoine was appointed as a member of the Civil Procedure Expert Group by the Barreau du Québec. He has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Université Laval since 2014 and an instructor at the École du Barreau since 2021. He is a former Chair of the International Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Division (2019-2022), where he continues to serve as Vice-Chair. His master’s thesis, entitled “Le délai de prescription applicable à l’exécution d’une sentence arbitrale étrangère au Québec”, received the Henri-Capitant Award for the best master’s thesis in private law in Quebec in 2015.

He is a member of the Barreau de Québec’s Committee on Public Legal Services, a member of the Barreau du Québec’s Committee on Arbitration of Lawyers’ Fees, and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec.
