A trademark agent in Montréal, Simone has developed a strong expertise in this field. She provides strategic advice to clients on creating, protecting and growing their intellectual property portfolios, more specifically their trademarks, as well as guidance on defending their trademarks.
Simone represents a diverse clientele operating in various sectors and industries, both in Canada and internationally. She is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the College of Patent Agents & Trademark Agents (CPATA), and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), which recognized her as a BIPOC leader in the intellectual property field during Black History Month 2022.
Simone also gives presentations on trademark matters to organizations such as Regional Export Promotion Organizations (ORPEX). She has delivered training for the Mouvement ontarien des femmes immigrantes francophones (MOFIF) and provided coaching to entrepreneurs as part of MOFIF’s “Envol” program for Black women entrepreneurs in Ontario.
